Responsibilities:

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We’re recruiting for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Routewide team based in Bicester on a fixed term contract (12 months).
Main part of this role is to monitor compliance and performance by the supply chain across Area C2 and C3 and to liaise with Suppliers and their supply chain to resolve booking and compliance issues.
In this role, you will ensure that the Logistics and Security strategy is adhered to and provide guidance on all areas. You will receive, contact and coordinate communications between all stakeholders to ensure that all are informed and are receiving accurate and timely information. You will also manage movement of vehicles to and from the Contractor’s Working Areas using bespoke systems developed within the business.
Part of this role is to collaborate with Subcontractors and other stakeholders to develop the most efficient, effective and sympathetic logistics solutions to support the scheme. You will ensure the business complies with regulations and update policies and processes when required and maintain records, proving that the vehicle fleet is compliant with regulations.
You will provide advice and guidance to peers and operators on logistics issues and improve the operation performance of the Logistics team whilst minimizing the operational downtime. In addition, you will implement, maintain and develop policies and processes to ensure the Logistics and Security team is effective and efficient whilst concurrently educating staff with industry concepts, practices and procedures.
