About the role:
The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for all operational activities relating to Fliway Logistics Warehouse Customers. You are responsible for supervising the day to day logistics operation in relation to ‘hands on’ operation and people supervision within the SME operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customer requests are properly received, recorded and processed.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced in accordance with Company Policy.
  • Act as the prime contact for all daily operational issues and resource planning and to be tasked with identifying areas of inefficiency, provide cost savings and adding value for the benefit of both Fliway and their customers.
  • Consistently meet customers agreed SLA to 100%.
  • Understand and operate the WMS currently being used by Fliway Logistics.
  • Minimize risk to Fliway business group through implementation and monitoring of customer service levels and cost.
  • Ensure stock put away and order processing is performed in line with best practice methodology.
  • Ensure all activities are reflected in the customers’ revenue and rate schedules.
  • Ensure through daily cyclic counts that inventory integrity is maintained to expected levels.
  • Always maintain cost control through labour resource management and proactive reaction to fluctuations in customer activity levels.
  • Ensure the building and vehicles are secure, this includes security.
  • Adhere to financial requirements and follow the budget.

What you Bring:

  • Experience with WMS
  • Demonstrated stock control/inventory experience.
  • Experienced in Financial management Skills
  • Computer literate in Word, Email and Excel applications
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal)
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills
