Job Summary

Jouw functie

• Je staat in voor de planning van de transporten van onze leveringen vanuit het centraal magazijn en je doet dit op een kostenbewuste en efficiënte manier.
• Je rapporteert in de functie rechtstreeks aan de Supply Chain Manager.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

• Je houdt rekening met de beschikbare subcontractors, specificaties van de klant, routeoptimalisaties, …
• Je verzorgt proactief een professionele en positieve communicatie naar de transporteurs/rederijen en volgt hen op.
• Je stuurt de vervoersopdrachten uit, je controleert en verzorgt de naverwerking van de uitgevoerde diensten.
• Je past de planning aan wanneer ad hoc problemen zich voordoen en zorgt voor een oplossing.
• Je staat in nauw contact met onze dienst Customer Service en je zorgt mee voor een optimale informatiedoorstroom.
• Je volgt de facturen van de transporten op (nakijken en linken aan de juiste referentie). De fouten haal je eruit en overleg je met de leveranciers.
• Je hebt een nauwe samenwerking met de Purchasing afdeling, omtrent alles m.b.t. transport (lucht, trein, weg, zee).
• Stimuleren en uitdragen van het veiligheids- en milieubewustzijn.
• Streven naar Continuous Improvement.

Profiel

• Een bachelordiploma in een relevante studierichting of minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
• Je hebt een goede geografische kennis.
• Je hebt goede talenkennis (Nederlands/Engels): je bent in staat vlot te communiceren met anderstaligen.
• Je bent iemand die organisatorisch sterk staat en je houdt het hoofd koel bij onvoorziene zaken.
• Je hebt een uitgesproken customer focus, sterke verantwoordelijkheidszin en een goed aanpassingsvermogen.
• Je gaat nauwkeurig en resultaatgericht te werk. Je bent stressbestendig en probleemoplossend.
