We are currently looking for a
Logistics Planner (m/w/d) located in Monheim.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
  • Previous work experience in Logistics/Transportation
  • Fluency in English & German is a must
  • Operational SAP knowledge
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Soft Skills: Reliable, Independent, Fast Learner

Responsibilities:

  • Manage carriers and drive their service performance on daily basis and drive sustainable problem solving for main loss drivers.
  • Manage daily operations, solve ad hoc issues, customer claims for logistics area.
  • Ensure agreed safety standards are in place by carriers including performing regular audits. As Safety Champion, be responsible for investigation of incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Cost Controlling for Customer Delivery Area, including invoice process control, tight spend control on monthly basis.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Divisions on daily basis but also lead/or participate in joint Customer Collaboration projects.
  • Identify savings opportunities and deliver respectively or support the delivery.
  • Partner with broader cross-functional teams: Planning, Warehousing and Procurement and broader European teams.
