The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- Degree in logistics, business or similar studies
- Good knowledge of logistics and transportation planning, especially container (deep-sea & multimodal) and truck transportation
- Preferably more than ~5 years of experience in collaborating with shipping lines, forwarders and other stakeholders in transportation field
- Previous experience of logistics operations workflow and efficient ways of carrying out operations
- Good and proactive communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Performance driven with accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to cope with constant changes and hectic work environment
- Hands on experience with different IT-systems; experience with ERP systems (especially with SAP), TMS systems, knowledge of Google tools (GMail, Sheets, Slides, Docs) and MS Exce
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
Main responsibilities in this role
- Carrying out transport order management tasks in compliance with Neste principles and processes including
- Bookings & confirmations
- Handling and generating transportation documentation
- Coordinating, tracking and tracing deliveries
- Follow-up & Claims handling
- Exception management
- Delivery quality and quantity monitoring
- Self-leading way and responsibility of giving operational guidance (compliance etc.) to operations, trader, sales/supply manager and supply chain management
- Participation in designated project and process work
- Other possible responsibilities and tasks assigned by the management
