QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year experience in a similar role, preferred
  • Previous experience of supervision of site logistics role, preferred
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to organize, manage, and lead a team of individuals
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills for internal and external partners
  • Numerically strong and computer literate
  • Flexible in order to adapt to the ever-changing needs and demands of the role

Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling and logistics for all deliveries by:
  • Maintaining and effectively communicating delivery schedules
  • Utilizing software tools to organize and communicate efficiently
  • Organizing and coordinating driver schedules and route plans for efficient and timely transit of materials
  • Communicating with supervisors to ensure efficiencies are met
  • Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Ensuring all delivery records and paperwork are retained
  • Ensuring deliveries are safely loaded
  • Ensuring safety and compliance for all deliveries and drivers
  • Attending all huddles and logistics team meetings
  • Ordering hard good materials for jobs; scheduling pick-up and delivery in an efficient manner
  • Ensuring materials ordered are within the estimated budget
  • Managing the company fleet
  • Organizing and overseeing parts and materials necessary to maintain company fleet
  • Comply with company policies, standards, & regulations
