Description:

C.H. Robinson is looking to hire a Logistics Representative. In this role you will be responsible for managing customer’s supply chain information and data within C.H. Robinson’s Transportation Management System. You will serve as an extension of the customer’s staff to ensure that all information flows properly and efficiently and all transportation arrangements are made. As a Logistics Representative you will be accountable for independently managing,, fostering, and maintaining a relationship with your assigned customer(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion
Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
Site Specific: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
Information systems acumen
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Ability to present to a variety of audiences
Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately
Ability to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks
Continuous improvement mindset
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Perform relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes
  • Facilitate customer calls, emails, and updates while providing best in class customer service
  • Conduct CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representatives
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Serve as a logistics expert and provide suggestions to customers to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
  • Utilize project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
