Position Summary
1. Provide optimal logistics services such as selection of logistics companies that meet customers’ logistics requirements, securing of infrastructure, and management of logistics operations.
2. Monitor logistics company’s overall performance including import customs clearance, delivery, storage and logistics costs, and achieve goals by logistics indicator.
3. Secure and apply continuous process innovation and system to ensure the logistics competitiveness.
Role and Responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages finished goods and spare parts logistics operations in SEAsia region, in an outsourced 3rd party logistics (3PL) management environment.
  • Focuses on logistics and domestic distribution areas, including warehousing, inland transportation, home delivery and importation.
  • Works closely with Subsidiaries’ logistics personnel to assess country-specific business requirements, logistics market trends, service and product offerings in the Consumer Electronics industry vertical.
  • Be responsible for evaluating LSP KPI result, carry out root cause analysis, identify area of improvement and implement it with subsidiaries and LSP.
  • Be responsible to analyze logistics cost data, identify areas of abnormality and ensure cost accuracy.
  • Be responsible for identifying, analyzing and proposing process improvement initiatives and cost savings opportunities across Subsidiaries.
  • Implements regional strategic initiatives and coordinates efforts with Subsidiaries’ logistics personnel in providing regional direction and project management support.
  • Be active in the role of consultancy and interaction with global HQ in discussion and sharing of best practices in logistics operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify root cause of issues and come up with solution.
  • Demonstrate ability in auditing & resolving operational issues in an environment where logistics management is outsourced to a 3PL.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills – being persuasive and influential with stakeholders e.g. 3PL and/or subsidiaries logistics partners
  • Experience in project management – ability to structure and execute projects, as well as manage key stakeholders and timeline.
  • Experience with LE module in SAP or other major ERP suites preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, deliver on commitments and in accordance to timeline.
  • Creative thinking – active in pursuit of innovation and excellence in logistics processes and ability to execute the idea.
  • Ability to handle and analyze large amount of dataset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics or Supply chain
  • Proven track record in logistics operations and demonstrated experience in dealing with supply chain projects
  • Good understanding of supply chain, freight management and contract logistics processes
  • Experiences in 3rd party logistics company or operational experiences preferred.
