BORG Automotive is seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our Group Logistics Department. In this role, you will work at the dynamic interface between our commercial departments and our operational logistics departments, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service through data-driven solutions and theoretical expertise.

  • Hands-On Approach: You enjoy getting hands-on experience to understand, develop, and scale processes effectively.
  • Educational Background: You hold a Master’s or Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Logistics Specialist at BORG Automotive, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility and given the freedom to develop your own solutions. You’ll identify areas for optimization and contribute to our ongoing efforts to enhance processes within the logistics area. Continuous improvement and process optimization are at the heart of what we do, and you will be instrumental in driving these initiatives forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consignment Stock Management: You will manage consignment stocks at strategic customers located across Europe. Through demand planning and inventory analysis, you will collaborate closely with our Sales Department and customers to strengthen business relationships and develop new opportunities.
  • Delivery Service Alignment: You will monitor and analyze our delivery service performance for a selected group of customers. By aligning our internal reporting with customer expectations and actual delivery performance, you will seek ways to enhance our processes and ensure our products are readily available in the market.
  • Logistics Projects: You will participate in various logistics projects, leveraging your analytical skills to turn data into actionable insights. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will be key as you identify improvement opportunities and propose process optimization ideas both internally and externally.
