Description:

AVK-SEG UK Ltd is a leading provider of critical power solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Logistics Store Manager to join our team.
The Logistics Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics and warehouse department. In this role, you will manage inventory levels, coordinate shipments, ensure accuracy in receiving and dispatching goods, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of inventory including receiving, storage, and tracking
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, conducting regular stock takes and reordering as necessary
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices in the warehouse
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall logistics efficiency
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track and report on inventory levels, order status, and performance metrics
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a logistics or warehouse manager
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
