Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a range of goods. The role includes managing warehouse staff, processes, and systems, and ensuring productivity targets are met. The position requires strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining high levels of quality in the warehouse operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or a similar role.
Proven experience in supervising and managing staff.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

SOFT SKILLS:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and moving heavy items.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
