Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the routine operations of the Logistics Department, ensuring that it works with and delivers efficient and effective logistics support to Lin Scan projects. This includes supply chain management and the monitoring/follow-up of logistics systems to ensure that standard practices are adhered to and maintained.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years of experience in international shipments
- Post Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in similar position
- Experience and good knowledge of LATAM market (customers, systems, logistics providers)
- Ability to lead and train others
- Proficiency in English and Spanish languages

Responsibilities:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply always and fully with LIN SCAN IT requirements
- Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secrets
- Respect and support fellow employees at all times
- Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)
- Act in such a manner that LIN SCAN’s reputation is highly respected
- Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final product
- Follow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required
- Assure timely and accurate reporting to LIN SCAN IT Department
- Identify training requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
- Follows up delivery and receipt of cargo/shipment
- Supervise Logistics process.
- Acts as a liaison between departments/projects/managers regarding shipments
- Coordinates with Production regarding readiness of tools for shipment
- Demobilization follow ups
- Coordinate with projects and production department to set timing for shipments
- Responsible for updated and accurate database of tools and materials (weight measurement, quantity, and origin) for easy reference
- Responsible for shipping documentation, attestation and coordination with freight forwarder/cargo agents for on time dispatch
- Keeps himself update about customs rules and regulations in various destinations where Lin Scan ships it tools
- Establishes good working relations with local of international forwarding agents to secure a good control and company’s shipments
- Coordination of drivers
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Plan mobilization and demobilization transactions on monthly basis
- Submit weekly/monthly reports
- Follow up Logistics officer attendance to daily tasks
- Insure all shipments on time
- Responsible for updated and accurate database of tools and materials (weight measurement, quantity, and origin) for easy reference
