JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Co-VP Procurement and Logistics, the main responsibilities are to ensure the smooth operations of transport for all the supply of all locations. The candidate will ensure excellent communication (organization and follow-up) with various internal/external customers and suppliers involved, while managing a daily processing batch.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a degree in Transportation Management (DEC) or any other related field;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience;
  • Good computer skills (MS Office; ERP system);
  • Bilingualism required (French and English).

Responsibilities:

  • Contact carriers to schedule pick-ups;
  • Tender carriers for various customer needs;
  • Fill out the delivery notes of the carriers and complete the customs documents when required;
  • Update relevant information in the computer system;
  • Scan required documents and forward them to the appropriate people and/or file them on the network;
  • Prepare the required documentation to inform employees on the particularities of each carrier;
  • Participate in the documentation process and management of non-conformities related to transportation
  • Participate in various projects related to the transportation network.
  • Any other related tasks.
