JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Logistics Transport Specialist to optimize outbound logistics and transportation strategies, with a primary focus on E-commerce channels. Reporting to the Manager of Outbound Logistics, this role requires a deep understanding of E-commerce logistics and parcel carrier operations. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field;.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics or related operations, with a focus on E-commerce logistics and parcel carrier management;.
  • Bilingual in French and English;.
  • Experience with E-commerce retailers is an asset;.
  • Strong proficiency in transportation management systems and logistics technologies, with expertise in parcel carrier operations;.
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive problem-solving approach;.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams;.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to driving process improvements in E-commerce logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Outbound Manager to develop and refine transportation strategies by leveraging insights into parcel carrier networks and industry best practices;.
  • Address and resolve transportation challenges, with a focus on enhancing the customer experience;.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of parcel carriers, using expertise in carrier operations to inform strategic decisions;.
  • Ensure seamless communication of merchandise movements between internal systems and external freight partners’ portals;.
  • Analyze outbound shipping KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to achieve performance goals;.
  • Build and update weekly KPI reports to measure and improve carrier performance;.
  • Manage Jira ticket completion, supporting the Logistics Coordinator in resolving complex or escalated issues;.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams (customer service, warehouse, stores) and external partners (carriers, brokers) to troubleshoot shipment issues and promote continuous improvement;.
  • Contribute to the development of new logistics processes tailored to the evolving needs of E-commerce operations;.
  • Oversee and organize shipments for store openings, repositionings, renovations, and closures across Canada and the U.S.
