ABOUT THE LONDON RESEARCH AND POLICY PARTNERSHIP (LRAPP):

The London Research and Policy Partnership (LRaPP) is a collaborative initiative established in July 2012, which comprises of University of London and the Greater London Authority, aimed at bridging the gap between research and policy-making in London. It brings together academic institutions, policy-makers, and practitioners to generate evidence-based solutions for London’s pressing issues. LRaPP is working on developing its main products and services to make it easier for academics and policymakers to engage with each other and tackle urban challenges across London. Responsibilities:

The London Research and Policy Partnership (LRaPP) is seeking a dynamic individual from academic research, teaching, or professional services to lead student research projects that connect academic work with real-world policy and practice.
The Policy Fellow will spearhead a pan-London initiative to embed undergraduate and postgraduate students in research-policy partnerships. This role involves mapping existing student engagement opportunities, identifying best practices, and developing strategies to connect students with real-world data from organizations such as the GLA, London Councils, and other public and private sector entities. The goal is to bridge the gap between academia and policy, enhancing students’ networks, skills, and career prospects.
This is a 6-month contract with potential for renewal. The starting salary may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Terms will be outlined in a fellowship agreement between the partner institution and the University of London.
