As a Loss Prevention (LP) agent, you are very hands-on and flexible when it comes to supporting hotel operations, ensuring that the property, guest and hotel staff are safe. From assisting in discouraging unwanted behavior within the hotel, looking for patterns of suspicious behavior, collaborating with Police Officers and other security personnel, when necessary, to fire life safety inspections throughout the property. As an LP Agent you also assist with Housekeeping, Engineering and Concierge requests daily. For this position, you are not required to be a certified Security Officer. Therefore, your responsibilities will be mainly assisting the LP team. At the Amsterdam Marriott, an LP Agent tasks include assisting in:

  • Patrolling all areas of the property and assist guests with access to their room, if necessary
  • Monitoring safety sources and conduct daily physical fire life safety inspections
  • Responding to accidents and assist guests/employees during emergency situations
  • Calming guests who cause disturbances and escorting people out of the property, if necessary
  • Conducting investigations, gather evidence, and enable interviews with relevant parties
  • Completing required LP shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents
  • Working weekday, weekend, and night Shifts
  • You have a good level of English
