Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of alarm service and installation experience
  • Comfortable working with technology and self-motivated to learn
  • Must maintain a clean, professional image with external and internal customers
  • Ability to travel as required (no overnight travel)
  • Ability to work overtime as required and participate in on-call schedule after six-months
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess and maintain a clear driver’s license and safe driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two (2) year Associate’s Degree
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

Eastern Security Services is seeking qualified individuals to join our Service Technician team. As a Low Voltage Security Technician, your primary role will be servicing and troubleshooting a variety of security systems, as well as assisting with installation work. Systems include video surveillance, intelligent video verification, security intrusion alarms, access control with integrated Photo ID, biometrics, UL listed engineered fire alarm systems, enterprise-wide security solutions, central station monitoring, remote access security management, and video intercom systems. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service, install and test residential and commercial security alarm systems
  • Provide technical support to customers including, but not limited to, troubleshooting all aspects of systems in the field, programming of alarm panels, remote programming of alarm panels, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers
  • Research and test new alarm products and related equipment
  • Installation and programming of commercial and residential Fire Systems
