NUVIA UK’s Technical Services & Consulting department is fast growing with hybrid opportunities available up and down the country. We’re striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent.
We are looking for a permanent Low Voltage System Engineer to support on a project for Hinkley Point. Supporting one of our key clients, you will act as the face of Nuvia throughout the project. Activities to be carried out as part of the service include system engineering activities for the Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems on the HPC project, including Normal, Emergency and Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
- Knowledge of the nuclear field via educational curriculum or professional experience.
- Knowledge of the quality processes involved in industrial projects in the nuclear field.
- Electrical distribution technical reviews.

Responsibilities:
- Produce, review and update the system documentation for the low voltage electrical distribution systems of the plant, this includes operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental specification, control logic design, as well as periodic testing in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.
- Managing requests for modifications to system(s) issued by various external parties by producing specifications and following engineering cycle (I&C and/or mechanical design changes specifications).
- Analysis and verification of the applicability of these modifications and challenging them as appropriate - Participate in experience sharing activities (OPEX shared with other projects and if coming from other projects, integrated within HPC when possible).
