We currently have an opening for an ambitious Low Voltage Technician. This field position is temporary, full-time, and project based, with the possibility of becoming permanent and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.
Location: Project Site Specific (Burrard Street, Vancouver)
Hours: 10-hour days
Full PPE, as well as tools including meters, and voltage testers required

As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible to:

  • Low voltage wiring;
  • Able to terminate low voltage devices based on point-to-point wiring diagrams;
  • Label wiring;
  • Follow CSA wiring codes;
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the safety requirements of the job site and ensure protocols are properly followed;
  • Able to perform continuity tests.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideally, you bring 2+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry;
  • Familiarity with Division 8, 10, and 28 is considered an asset;
  • Background in low voltage wiring, control training, and reading wiring diagrams;
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions;
  • Familiarity with access controls.
