who we need …
We are looking for an LQA project manager with a Life Science and/or Healthcare background. The LQA PM will interact with clients to fully understand their needs, develop budget, and lead multilingual large-scale project plans.

what we need you to do …

  • Work under the guidance of Localization Quality Program Manager in LQA Programs
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Review client’s requests and assess needs for additional information, g., compilation of glossaries, previously translated similar documents, list of acronyms, technical terminology, and translation memories
  • Develop efficient workflows and oversee the use and maintenance of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries
  • File preparation and analysis using translation memory software, develop cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Be mindful of budgets and schedules and supervise the progress of translation projects
  • Manage multiple complex multilingual projects/clients simultaneously
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date management reports and translation database
  • Exercise sound judgment in keeping management informed of potential difficulties
  • Conduct customized feedback analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of feedback to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, tailoring reports to specific project needs
  • Provide technical support for translation tools: Assist team members with resolving issues related to translation tools such as memoQ and others, ensuring smooth project execution and minimal downtime Creating credentials, managing user accounts, providing clear instructions, and conducting training sessions. Coordinating with CAT tool technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain documentation: Create, update, and manage documentation as required, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members and stakeholders on a case-by-case basis

what we want you to have …

  • Minimum three years of experience in translation industry with good proficiency of translation tools
  • Understanding of variety of complex multilingual project types and Life Science/Healthcare materials
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to professional customer service
  • Positive attitude and a true team player with clear sense of accountability
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with initiative and creative approach to problem solving
  • Robust computer skills including MS Office and Internet applications
  • Fluency in English and preferably a second language
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) and vendor management experience are highly desirable
  • Tech savvy, able to judge multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment
