Description:

Package: £30,000 - £35,000 basic, dependent upon experience, with an uncapped OTE
Location: Atelier Galleries, York
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts per day (to reflect the centre’s opening hours). 5 days out of 7, at least 2 weekends out of 4.

The Role: As a Gallery Manager, you will be at the heart of our business, building relationships and inspiring clients to buy and build their perfect art collection. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Brand Ambassador: Being the face of the brand in gallery, greeting, qualifying, and onboarding new clients from footfall, to telephone, web and partnership opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management (CRM): Nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, matching our unrivalled portfolio of world-class art with their tastes and collections.
  • Sales Strategy: Proactively generating new leads, re-engaging lapsed clients, and nurturing potential buyers, all while meticulously managing the gallery’s database to achieve sales targets whilst delivering an exceptional and seamless art buying experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You are engaging, tenacious, and ready to bring vibrancy to every conversation.
  • You’re motivated by hitting (and smashing!) sales targets and are eager to earn unlimited commission.
  • You’re passionate about delivering a top-tier client experience and building lasting relationships.
  • You have at least one year of experience in a target-driven sales role. (Art knowledge is a bonus, but not required!)
  • A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or Management role.
