REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current, active LVN license in Texas
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program.
  • Licensure: Current, valid LVN license in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting, oncology experience preferred but not required.
    Oncology Consultants is a drug-free workplace. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Responsibilities:

PATIENT COMMUNICATION & ANCILLARY DUTIES:

  • Manage and respond to patient voicemails, task box assignments, faxes, and CareSpace messages promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure timely communication with patients regarding their care, medication refills, and appointment scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to address patient concerns and follow up on care-related tasks.
  • Set up blood and platelet transfusions at local outpatient facilities.
