Description:

ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT RESEARCH? SO ARE WE! COME AND JOIN US

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a leading research and technology organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of science and technology. Our Composite Unit and DMAC research group are at the forefront of innovative research in composite materials and advanced numerical methods, striving to drive significant advancements in materials science and engineering. The team research activity encompasses both physics-based and data-driven modelling of composite materials and processes. By integrating fundamental principles of physics with advanced computational techniques, we develop precise, predictive models that enhance our understanding of composite behaviour. Simultaneously, leveraging data-driven approaches, we harness the power of big data and machine learning to uncover patterns and insights that drive innovation in material design and manufacturing processes. This dual approach ensures that our research not only advances theoretical knowledge but also translates into practical, real-world applications, pushing the limits of what is possible in composite materials and manufacturing process technologies.
We are seeking a passionate and driven scientist to join our Composite Unit and DMAC research group. As part of our team, you will focus on cutting-edge composite materials and process modelling. Experience in physics-informed, data-driven methods for composite materials design and performance is highly desirable. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on innovative European research projects, contributing to the development of ground-breaking technologies.
