Webuild is looking for an M&A and Asset Management Analyst, based in Milan, for the Group M&A and Asset Management team to help evaluate investment opportunities to accelerate growth through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
The candidate will develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends and market dynamics, gather industry intelligence and execute potential transactions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous 6 month - 1 year of experience in investment banking, M&A boutique, audit / consulting, and/or in-house corporate development / Corporate M&A team;
  • Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, Industrial Engineering with major in Finance;
  • Sound knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, corporate finance and business law;
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills;
  • Exceptional Power Point presentation skills;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; an additional language will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and assessing investment opportunities across existing and new / adjacent markets;
  • Supporting throughout all phases of due diligence process, coordinating both with other internal departments and external advisors;
  • Creating and maintaining updated financial model for potential targets, mastering sensitivity and scenario analysis;
  • Preparing executive level strategic and financial presentations for executive review meetings / investment committees;
  • Supporting integration efforts for acquisitions in collaboration with other internal departments;
  • Mapping and monitoring M&A transactions to facilitate market understanding.
