DESCRIPTION

As the owner of M&A Integration within supply Chain, The M&A Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for the IT Supply Chain Processes, ensuring seamless integration of supply chain operation and technology, minimizing disruption and aligning services with business objectives.
You will lead the effort of delivering a structured, compliant integration plan, ensuring efficient execution and completion within the project scope, timeline and budget.
Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, this role is a Fixed Term Contract (until June 2025), with one direct report, and a wider team of 8 overseas.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Seasoned skills in IT / Supply Chain service management
  • Extensive experience spent on acquisition integration projects (Tech POV)
  • Confident utilising ERP and supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in integration contexts
  • Demonstrable ability to manage large-scale IT projects, including system migrations and consolidations
  • Proven ability to deliver technical change, never compromising supply chain SLAs/targets
  • Deep understanding of ITSM frameworks, and ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow
  • Expertise in managing and integrating complex supply chain environments in complex IT and organisational structurers
  • Strong E2E project management skills and experience, ideally backed up theoretical certification (PMP, Prince2, etc)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on quality and timelines
  • Creative problem-solver with a knack for developing and implementing effective solutions that drive project success
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Advanced ITIL certification (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional), desirable
  • Familiarity with automation tools and cloud-based supply chain management systems, advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute IT-focused supply chain integration strategies during M&A activities, ensuring alignment with the established project timeline.
  • Ensure all Supply Chain activities are executed in alignment with project timelines, minimizing disruptions and impact on overall project delivery
  • Define and stand up supply chain operational practices where these are not currently in place for a specific geography or scope
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, Project Team and M&A Director to ensure that integration plans align with requirements and operational needs.
  • Implement necessary changes to supply chain policies and procedures to meet operational requirements during and after integration.
  • Implement best practices in Supply Chain continuity to ensure that IT service functions are not interrupted during integration.
  • Establish frameworks for managing Supply Chain incidents and problems related to the integration process, ensuring quick identification and resolution of issues.
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts to address IT Supply Chain integration challenges
  • Track the performance of Supply Chains M&A function, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and performance KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on integration progress, risks, and service performance.
  • Lead post-merger evaluation and optimization of IT service management processes within the supply chain.
  • Propose and implement long-term improvement strategies post-integration to enhance and support BAU Supply Chain operations.
  • Ensuring smooth handover to Supply Chain BAU post integration.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of the integration process, including key decisions, system configurations, and process changes.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer as needed
