OVERVIEW:
As a supplier of automation equipment KAON have been providing custom designed automation solutions to leading manufacturing companies globally since 2005 and have a proven track record of providing innovative and flexible solutions.
The successful candidate will work on challenging, innovative projects within a highly technical and collaborative working group.
The Role: Machine Build Technician
A critical role to the success of our projects, the required candidate is a highly skilled individual, detail orientated and motivated to achieve the highest standard of work practices.
SKILLS:
Ability to interpret Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electrical drawings
A high degree of mechanical aptitude and skills
Ability to troubleshoot/envision solutions
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter with good attention to detail
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer literate
Good knowledge of health and safety workplace practices
Experience using 3D CAD applications e.g. SolidWorks
Experience in a similar role an advantage
Experience of automated/high volume production an advantage
Experience with engineering problem solving tools an advantage (Six Sigma, CPK, 5 Whys etc.)
Current driving licence

Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly and debug of automated machinery
Liaise with the design team on alterations/improvements required during the machine build phase
Field wiring/ plumbing of pneumatics and sensors
Complying with company safety policies
Maintaining GMP standards
Meeting project delivery deadlines
On-site installation of equipment
