SUMMARY:

As a Machine Learning Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the data pipeline for our machine learning systems. Your primary responsibility will be to configure and manage inputs from cameras at various geographic locations, ensuring they are accurately processed and analyzed by our ML system. Your role will involve triaging, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, as well as leveraging data science techniques to understand and mitigate systemic errors. You will be an essential internal point of contact for this work, contributing to the robustness and reliability of our systems.
Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from anywhere within the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage inputs from cameras at different geographic locations to ensure proper processing by our ML systems.
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve or escalate technical issues related to data inputs and processing.
  • Utilize data science techniques to analyze and understand the root causes of systemic errors.
  • Develop strategies to build more robust and reliable data processing systems.
  • Act as an internal point of contact for issues related to camera data inputs and ML processing.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to improve data pipeline efficiency and accuracy.
