    Advanced Plastics is a custom plastic injection molding company with facilities in the Mt. Hood Industrial Park in Sandy, OR. We have been in business for over 35 years and we are steadily growing with the help of our employees.
    We are currently hiring machine operators for all three of our shifts: day, swing, or graveyard shift. Swing has a 10% shift differential, and graveyard has a 20% shift differential. We are looking for energetic candidates to be a part of our team. Advancement is available as specific skills are learned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Capacity to perform tasks quickly and accurately, multitask, and collaborate with others

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manual work with plastic products (trimming, assembling, etc.)
  • Sitting and/or standing for two-hour intervals during an eight-hour shift
  • Lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to 55 lbs
    Job Type: Full-time

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle plastic molded parts, inspecting for defects, trimming, assembling, and sorting
  • Load finished products into boxes or pallets for shipping
  • Monitor equipment, conduct minor troubleshooting, handle material, and assist in minor maintenance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Meet quality control standards and follow established procedures
  • Inspect molded parts for defects and follow instructions accordingly
  • Observe machine operation and temperature, reporting dysfunction if necessary
  • Label boxes or pallets, identify material types and colors
  • Meet production goals and quotas
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area
