Description:
Brothers Door is based in Auckland and provide quality customised services in Auckland Waikato areas.
Currently we are looking for two (2) experienced and skilled Metal Machinist to run ,setup and maintain our workshop machines.
The minimum skills, experience and qualifications for the role:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience Or a relevant Level 4 qualification
- Team oriented, punctuality, loyalty and commitment to work
- able to work with flexible hours to meet deadline
Minimum hours of work: 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: $32 per hour-$40 per hour
Location:123 Neilson Street, Auckland

Responsibilities:
YOUR DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work closely with team members in our Onehunga workshop and other departments within the company to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Set up and operate machining tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
- Study and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the suitable materials, methods, and sequences of operations.:
- Install or fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble subassemblies to produce high-quality machines and equipment.
- Inspect fabricated and assembled parts for accuracy and fit using precision measuring instruments, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Diagnose faults in machinery, perform operational maintenance, and carry out repairs on mechanical parts and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- On site assembly maybe required such as erecting and installing machines and equipment with team members at the job site
- Any other tasks that reasonably required by the employer
