QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge with troubleshooting.
  • Have manual dexterity.
  • Be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
  • Great attention to detail with accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standing involved.
  • May repeat the same movement.
  • Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
  • Ability to bend or twist their body.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Preserve the good condition and functionality of premises, the Machine Operator will perform maintenance tasks of great variety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Perform change over.
  • Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensure machines are kept clean and covered when not in use (No crackers dust on machines guards).
  • Report issues to Line Supervisor that require assistance
  • Weigh scale and triangle calibration.
  • Perform set up and adjustments on equipment for optimal performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting (all packing hall service calls).
  • Perform troubleshooting (all Bake-End service calls).
  • Keep record for downtime to report back to the Line Supervisor.
  • Report any issues affecting line performance to Line Supervisor.
  • Perform machine operations.
  • Perform Bake-End tasks completely which comes to scope of Machine Operator.
  • Assist sheeter on die change for changeovers as per schedule.
  • Follow safety lockout procedures always.
  • Perform allergen changeover at bake-end end.
  • Perform allergen changeover at packing hall end.
  • Assist Mechanic with belt change when requested.
  • Assist with Monthly PMs as requested, e.g., motors grease.
  • Assist with replacing sheeter knives.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Leader throughout the shift.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
