Oakwood Veneer is seeking the addition of an Production Associates to join our Troy, Michigan team.

EXPERIENCE OR INTEREST IN WOODWORKING OR WOODSHOP A PLUS!

If you have a GED or High school diploma, the ability to lift 30 lbs., and desire a career that is very rewarding, this is a job opportunity you should explore! Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must have a reliable source of transportation. Attendance is a high priority!

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to safely lift 30lbs
• Ability to remain mostly stationary with repetitive motions
• Strong oral communication skills
• Relevant Machine shop or wood shop experience or ability to learn on job
• Adaptability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to lean many different machines safely and competently
• Ability to learn hundreds of different wood species and grades
