JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator/Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation:
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure machines run efficiently and meet production targets.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance, and production output.
- Report any safety or operational concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure machinery complies with regulatory and company standards.
