JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator/Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure machines run efficiently and meet production targets.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance, and production output.
  • Report any safety or operational concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure machinery complies with regulatory and company standards.
