Description:

Responsibilities:
- Working with our associates to ensure machines are set up and running
- Work with our programmers to develop process for machining parts
- Work with our efficiency supervisor to maximize through put
- Work with Scheduling to prioritize jobs
- Work with Maintenance to ensure PM is done.
- Must have a firm understanding of machining principles and CNC equipment
- Machines we use are, CNC mills, horizontal boring mills with pallet pool, dual spindle lathes, some with live tooling, bar feeders and robotics
- Trouble shooting production issues as needed
- Delegate task and work to associates
- Know how to check dimensions with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges.
- Read blueprints and use measuring instruments as required
- Scan and log activities such as dimensions, quantities complete etc
- Must have good communication and good math skills
- Must have excellent attendances and punctuality
- Rate is negotiable based on ability.
