Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Sort and scan incoming mail and packages and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail. Receive and deliver all incoming packages (i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL,BTX ). Distribute mail to the correct departments or individual. Maintain accurate records of all mail transactions.
Keep daily records of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Sort, look-up, proper marking, and direction of all U.S.P.S. mail, overnight and interoffice mail. Answer global directory calls and route accordingly. Facilities maintenance which includes but not limited to building maintenance, moves/relocations, storage, recycling, meeting event set ups.
This role combines mailroom operations with basic facilities maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Copier/FedEx/Postage Machine knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and pick up of mail, throughout floors to and from Office Services.
  • Delivery and pick up of FedEx, and priority mail and any other incoming packages from various vendors.
  • Help keep inventory of all supplies in mail areas. This includes FedEx shipping supplies, , boxes etc.
  • Assist and advise end users of mail and shipping procedures, i.e., bulk mailings, international shipping etc.
  • Maintain daily logs and stat information for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Audit and update mail lists
  • Audit and update Mail personnel regarding any misdirected/unidentified mail.
  • Process all incoming mail and overnight packages.
  • Process all outgoing and interoffice mail.
  • Meter all outgoing U.S.P.S. mail.
  • Walkthroughs this includes Ayman office.
  • Replace Air fresheners.
  • Batteries for air fresheners
  • Cleans erase boards.
  • Markers erasers wipes in conf rooms.
  • Key requests/removes broken keys from drawers.
  • Replenishes printer papers.
  • Troubleshoots desk up/down issues.
  • Swaps broken chairs.
  • Employee desk moves.
  • Employee desk set ups
  • Table set ups for events.
  • Hang wall art /pictures.
  • Set up boxes for drives.
  • Be able to lift and move heavy items.
  • Cable setups for desks
  • walkthroughs of each floor
  • Replenishes soap, tissue in Ayman’s office.
