Responsibilities:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma and 1 to 2 years prior applicable mailroom experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Operating postage machines

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills: Spelling, math, grammar and filing – passing score: 76%

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes all in-coming and out-going mail for the New York offices; responsible for regulation of postage meters; supervises use of Federal Express and United Parcel Services.
  • Responsible for monitoring departmental stock and supplies; maintains ledger for all departmental supplies ordered and received; maintains inventory log of departmental supplies.
  • Interacts with paper, product and supplies vendors, maintaining records of order status and impending calls.
  • Assist with daily setup of conference rooms for meetings and special events which includes breaking down and setting up of boardroom tables.
  • Responsible for daily replenishing of supplies for the kitchen and pantry areas.
  • Assist in installation and repairs of shelving units, bookcases cabinets, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
