Description:

The Offshore Service Resource department is part of Northern Central Europe Service in Vestas and is responsible for the resource provision for areas across the business, such as service, special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
We are a whole new team being set up. We collaborate closely with many other parts of the organisation, and we are looking to create a team where safety, belonging, quality, and trust is in focus. By joining our new team, you will have the opportunity to influence the team and be a driver in upskilling new joiners, affecting the teams journey. In our team you will always be working with one or more technicians, mainly Offshore, but occasionally also Onshore.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you possess the following

  • A Technical or vocational education within mechanics or electrics
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience with WTG’s, documentation, and technical diagrams
  • Experienced in all as aspects of wind turbines, preferably trouble shooting activities
  • Preferably with all GWO certificates required to travel offshore
  • Fluency in English both written and verbalGood knowledge of Microsoft products and general IT, preferably with SAP experience

Responsibilities:

As a Main Components Technician in Vestas Offshore, you will experience being responsible for the following tasks

  • Take necessary actions to comply with Vestas Safe System of Work and Quality standards
  • Execute varied work on Wind Turbine Generators under Service Operations & Maintenance, also Upgrade campaigns, Main Component Exchanges and Blade campaigns throughout the Vestas Offshore WTG fleet
  • Ensure that Vestas core values are adhered to
  • Will work conjointly with other members of Vestas sites in particular the Authorizing Engineers, Service managers, Project managers, Supervisors as well as with sub-contractors and customer Service & construction teams
