Role"Mainframes Dev - CONNEX on IBM
Toronto
Role Description: Design, develop and maintain Mainframe Assembler, COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements for CONNEX on IBM payments switch application.Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.Responsible for full System Development Life CycleParticipate in production supportProvide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts associated with application components.Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development Experienced Mainframe Developer with 8+ years of experience. Expert knowledge in CONNEX on IBM Payment switch application development. Should have coding experience in Assembler, COBOL, DB2, JCL. Should have strong payments domain knowledge. EMV messaging and ISO8583 message formats Desirable Skills: Banking Domain knowledge.Experience with application design, development and deployment.
