We are looking for a Maintainer/Operator – Mechanical 2 (Pipefitter) to work in the Concentrator Maintenance department at the Iron Ore Company of Canada site in Labrador City, NL. The Pipefitter will ensure that maintenance activities are safely carried out to fixed plant, and associated assets, in a safe and efficient manner. The specific work schedule varies.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be:
- Participating actively in company safety systems and initiatives
- Demonstrating a safe work record resulting from a proactive approach to safety
- Contributing to improvement ideas and solutions in the workplace
- Diagnosing and repairing all types of rotating and conveying equipment
- Using power and hand equipment, performing varied types of rigging, often at heights which require climbing and the use of safety equipment i.e., harness, lanyard, SRL’s, man-lifts, scissor-lift
