MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR REQUIRED IN DURBANVILLE, CAPE TOWN.

A renowned national Wealth and Property Investment company is looking for a “Maintenance Administrator” to join their team on a full-time permanent basis for their offices in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year maintenance experience
  • RedRabbit experience
  • Computer literate
  • Reliable transport
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities

Key Performance Areas:

  • Attend to all day-to-day maintenance requests on the rental portfolio allocated to you.
  • You will have a list of approved contractors that you will work with on each development.
  • Attend to all reported maintenance and open tickets on RedRabbit.
  • Assign approved contractors.
  • Obtain quotations.
  • Get quotations approved by the responsible parties.
  • Give the go ahead to the contractors.
  • Ensure feedback is given to all parties after each step is completed.
  • Contractors to send in pictures of the jobs once completed.
  • Obtain invoices and send to Portfolio Administrators to load on PayProp.
  • Dealing with contractors on interim and exit inspections.
  • Attend to tenants / agents / owners / management queries via WhatsApp.
  • Attend to Red Rabbit requests from start to end on exit inspections (opening of tickets and follow through till closure).
  • Ensure all EXIT inspections are received, scheduled, and completed for your allocated portfolio.
  • Liaise with owners, management & rental agents regarding maintenance issues. Discuss problems and or give feedback and updates.
  • Liaising with Portfolio office regarding any issues arising for their info and action.
  • Submit insurance claims to managing agents for burst geysers etc.
  • Obtain quotes for repairs due to latent damages to submit to insurance.
  • Communication to owners regarding insurance claims.
  • Liaising with rental agents with regards to maintenance on the properties where they must move new tenants in to ensure the properties are ready for occupation.
