Maintenance and cleaning technician

REQUIREMENTS (NECESSARY):

• Experience of maintenance/installation works
• Good knowledge of computers and smartphones
• Able to confidently follow method statements and risk assessments
• Able to park a van safely overnight at your premises

REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED):

• Live in the Hemel Hempstead/St Albans area
• NRSWA Qualification {Operative level as a minimum}
• Previous experience of groundworks/ on-street working

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have right to work in the UK
• Valid UK Driving License (2 years minimum driving experience)
• Confident working at heights/ladders

Based in the Hertfordshire area you will have many tasks from cleaning shelters and bus stops to installing and maintaining bus stop infrastructure. Core working hours between 8am and 5pm, but there is some flexibility and there will be times when an earlier or later start of finish time is required. You will be responsible for planning your workload for efficiency and updating work records with detailed feedback.
Many days will have planned works, following a schedule that is repeated. But the nature of this contract requires flexibility to manage same-day requests from our client, so the candidate must be willing to meet that requirement for flexibility.
Candidates would need to reliable, physically fit, willing to learn and confident of making decisions that could overcome potential onsite problems.
