We’re looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for our Frame and Truss manufacturing plant in East Tamaki, Auckland. In this role you will manage a small team of maintenance fitters who play a key role in keeping our carpentry machines running smoothly, ensuring optimal productivity for the plant.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter with 7+ years and Electrical experience would be a benefit.
- Previous work experience in large equipment maintenance in a production environment
- Experience implementing maintenance and reliability initiatives focused on preventative and predictive maintenance
- Experience in providing training and continuous development for maintenance personnel
- Experience in reporting, auditing, reviewing and recommending changes in plant maintenance policies and procedures

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring maximum production uptime while implementing a maintenance system and preventative maintenance programme
- Manage and reduce costs associated with maintenance and external contractors
- Maintaining a spare parts programme
- Training and developing your team with a high focus on health and safety
