We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Assistant for our hotel in the Bayswater area.

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring that the property and its facilities are kept in excellent working condition. This role involves a variety of tasks, including routine inspections, minor repairs, and responding promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment, but not required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, decorating, and general repair skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in larger repair projects or during peak times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet the operational needs of the hotel.
