Description:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Knowledge and experience of plumbing, electrics and decorating are highly important to this role, alongside being enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well under pressure. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on a high standard of work and has the ability to prioritise their workload efficiently.
Hours of Work: You will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to the needs of the business. The Resort business functions seven days a week and 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities:
JOB ROLE
Working alongside the Maintenance team to complete all maintenance related work within the hotel in a timely fashion; you’ll be responsible for making sure the property is consistently maintained to Neville group standards and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and involve working closely with all hotel departments to ensure minimum disruption to guests.
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:
General:
1. Report for duty at the correct time as per rota, ensuring a high standard of appearance.
2. To represent the Resort in a professional manner.
3. Understand how all departments operate and how the Engineering Department can co-operate with them to ensure team spirit and a high level of guest satisfaction.
4. Perform any reasonable request from the management team.
5. Be aware of health, safety and fire procedures, and assume responsibility for the safety of your work area.
6. Be physically fit and ability to bend, stoop and lift, adhering to the principles of manual handling.
7. Be reliable and able to work flexible hours that will include weekends and holiday periods.
