Description:
PAY: BAND 3 - £12.45
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our friendly team at QMC Hospital. You will undertake general maintenance duties, in line with Trust policies and procedures. You must be willing to work on a variety of tasks. Undertake maintenance activities within an acute hospital setting in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
You will be part of the Facilities and Estates team carrying out a range of small-scale minor maintenance tasks. These duties will include (but are not limited to):
· General maintenance duties and emergency repairs as required, clearing work areas, moving, and storing of equipment.
· General manual labour across the site.
· Liaise and work with other trades/disciplines including external agencies (contractors).
· Removing furniture from offices & ward areas and helping out where needed.
