Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Associate for our Otter Co-op locations across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Retail and:

• 2 years of general maintenance experience
• Must have a high-level commitment to a SAFE working environment
• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Must have and maintain valid Class 5 DL with clean driving record
• Must provide exemplary customer service, aligned with brand standards and core values, to our external guests, internal team and contractors
• Proven track record as a self-starter, dedicated and reliable
• Work well in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to perform physical job duties of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• This position requires frequent travel to perform work at various locations, as business needs arise.

• Providing maintenance technician support to all Otter Co-op liquor stores, gas bars/c-stores, and food stores.
• Provide site assessment and/or repair assessment or delegate to an authorized contractor
• Site level support of small repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance
• Receive maintenance calls/requests from sites
• Support sites by ensuring maintenance requests are logged and updated through our online reporting system.
• Provide safety orientations as well as prepare contractors for any maintenance work onsite
• Prioritize tasks based on the overall operational needs and requirements of the company
• Working with and supporting Safety & Asset Protection following incidents and accidents
• Managing annual contractor maintenance (e.g.: HVAC, suppression systems, etc.)
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned
