Description:
Jetfly is a shared business aviation company based in Luxembourg on behalf of 450 co-owners. Our fleet is composed of 60 Pilatus aircraft (PC12 and PC24). The Pilatus has come to exemplify the unique combination of Swiss engineering and dedicated craftsmanship, yielding a superior flight, passenger and operator experience that is truly beyond comparison.
As Jetfly is going through a significant growth period, we are looking for an energetic and motivated MCC Officer to reinforce our MCC department. The MCC Technical Officer is reporting to the MCC Manager and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day technical aspects of the Jetfly Fleet.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide a first level of technical advice to flight crews on a 16/7 basis
- Review and propose dispatch conditions as appropriate, in coordination with the Captain of the flight
- Identify and follow up on chronic and repetitive aircraft problems
- Coordinate and communicate with the CAMO planning department
- Maintain liaison with the Operations for routing of aircraft with significant maintenance problems to stations where repairs can be performed with minimum disruption to the aircraft schedule
- Coordinate recovery activities for AOG aircraft
- Communicate advise times for RTS (positive/negative) between Part 145 and OCC
- Follow and launch all deferred defects on the Jetfly fleet
- Coordinate cabin configuration changes based on planning requests
REQUIREMENTS
Education / Basic Knowledge:
- Academic degree in Aeronautics and/or
- EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or C license holder. License on PC-12 or PC-24 would be considered as an advantage. Military equivalence will also be considered.
- 2 years’ experience in the technical environment of the aviation industry
Specific Technical Knowledge / Experience:
- Good knowledge of EASA Part M & CAMO and EASA Part 145 requirements
- Knowledge of Business Aviation Operations and/or Pilatus PC12/PC24 will be considered as an advantage.
- Ability to easily navigate into the aircraft technical documentation (AMM, IPC, WDM, SRM, etc. etc.)

- Developed sense of logic and good technical analysis. Willingness to dig in-depth into technical issues and establish relevant hypotheses based on knowledge, experience and history data analysis.
- Ability to work in team - and network internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills with a clear sense of priorities
- Flexibility and stress resistance.
- Enhanced communication skills (oral and written).
- Sense of diplomacy, good knowledge of human factors, and ability to adapt to the technical skills of the interlocutor.
- Cost cautiousness with a good sense of the economics for this part of the industry.
- Willingness to do shiftwork and overtime.
Language Knowledge:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to learn French
- German would be considered as a plus
IT – Knowledge:
- MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- AMOS Software or equivalent (of advantage).
- OPS systems like Fl3xx, Leon, SkyOps… (of advantage)
