ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Based at Monarto, 40 minutes up the South-Eastern Freeway & reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for daily Maintenance Planning activities for our state-of-the-art facility that produces quality mushrooms, 365 days of the year. Your primary role will be to support the Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor in routine day to day tasks of the department as well as to manage a subset of your own responsibilities which include but are not limited to, contractor management, asset compliance, safety compliance and stores/stock level management.
As Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning and organisation of day-to-day maintenance activities including the coordination of external contractors. You will ensure maintenance and compliance records are well organised and kept to the highest standard and the management of spare parts will be a focus, ensuring stock levels are maintained and well organised, including contacting suppliers and placing orders for spare parts, as well as progressively improving our stores and stock management systems.
