THE POSITION

Welltec Norway is looking for strong candidates with an Electrical background. Experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry would be advantageous however, not essential. Workplace will be the base in Bergen-Norway.

• Have a high focus on safety and professionalism, working in accordance with Welltec procedures and HSE regulations at all times.
• General maintenance of Welltec interventions equipment including redressing, repairing, and preparing equipment
• Preparing ATEX equipment for inspection and testing prior to operations
• Pre-mobilization testing of electronics as per Welltec procedures and instructions
• Being proficient in the use of electrical multi-meters and other basic instruments
• Identify and communicate technical problems and perform complex tasks with minimal instruction
• Maintain records and write reports as required by company procedures
• Participate actively in quality improvement efforts associated with Welltec tools and equipment
• Be part of an on-call rota system and have a flexible approach to working overtime at short notice.
• Final preparation, assembly, and mobilization of equipment to offshore locations.
