Maintenance Engineer

Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, working with household names such as Rolls Royce and Airbus, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to help us continue our journey. Based in our site in Chard!

In this key role, you will be responsible for executing a broad range of complex and skilled tasks to ensure the efficient operation and preventative maintenance of production equipment.
You will take ownership of smaller projects, applying your mechanical expertise to diagnose and repair issues across various systems, including but not limited to pneumatic and hydraulic components of production machinery.
Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the management and enhancement of out Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This includes developing and refining planned and preventative maintenance protocols, as well as providing detailed work status feedback, all of which are essential for maintaining optimal equipment performance and operational efficiency.
