Maintenance Engineer (Fire Alarm)

As a Maintenance Engineer in the Fire Alarm and Fire Safety Division, you will be responsible for ensuring that all fire safety systems, including fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and other fire prevention and protection systems, are properly maintained, tested, and fully operational. You will perform routine inspections, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on fire alarm and safety equipment across various facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in fire alarm and fire safety system maintenance.
• Experience with troubleshooting, installation, and servicing of fire alarm systems
• UAE driving is a must.

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems and related equipment (e.g., smoke detectors, fire alarm panels, sirens).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and calibrating sensors and alarms.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults within fire alarm systems.
• Replace faulty components, including detectors, control panels, and wiring.
• Ensure fire alarm systems comply with local regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain and service fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and exit signs.
• Conduct routine checks and refills on fire extinguishers.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards for all safety equipment.
• Assist in the installation and upgrading of new fire safety systems.
• Perform system integration for newly installed fire alarm systems or safety equipment.
• Keep accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prepare reports on system status, maintenance tasks performed, and any recommended actions or upgrades.
• Provide support during fire alarm activations or safety emergencies, ensuring timely repair and resolution of issues.
• Respond to emergency service calls related to fire alarm or fire safety system failures.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, local regulations, and company policies.
• Stay current on fire safety regulations and safety practices.
